About Millard Public

Schools Foundation

Our Mission: Guaranteeing Sustainable Success

Millard Public Schools Foundation (MPSF) exists to support the students, families, and staff of Millard Public Schools by securing sustainable resources and providing high-quality programs. We believe that every student deserves a world-class education, and we work as a vital partner to the district to ensure that excellence is never limited by a lack of funding.

How We Support Our Schools

Beyond childcare, we provide nearly $1 million annually in direct support to all 35 district buildings.

Academic Innovations & Grants

We fund strategic initiatives and "School Wish List" items to enhance the classroom experience.

Academic Innovations & Grants

Each year, we connect graduating seniors with over $160,000 in scholarship funding to help them achieve their post-secondary goals.

Family & Staff Support

Through the MPS Family Fund, we provide immediate assistance to community members facing crises, ensuring our families have the stability they need to thrive.

Our Latest Milestone: GreenState Millard Activity Center

The GreenState Millard Activity Center is the crown jewel of our commitment to the Millard community—an 85,000-square-foot, $20 million facility built entirely through private donations. Located next to Keith Lutz Horizon High School, it solves the district’s shortage of activity space with six hardcourts, an Innovation Lab and esports, and 40 acres of wellness trails.

Childcare & Summer Enrichment: our Spark Programs

Through our Spark programs, we provide much more than childcare; we offer a launchpad for creativity and lifelong friendships.

Spark School-Year Program:

A state-certified before-and-after school program operating in all 25 Millard elementary schools. Over 2,000 students participate annually in STEM and recreational activities that support their growth outside the traditional school day.

SparkUP (Summer Program)

An exclusive summer experience designed specifically for incoming 5th and 6th graders. SparkUP bridges the gap between childhood play and mature learning with "The Nest" lounge, technology challenges, off-site field trips to unique community sites, and the popular "Ice Cream Fridays".

Spark Adventure Camps

Week-long, half-day STEAM-based camps open to all Omaha-area families, not just those in the Millard district. With over 20 unique themes—ranging from "Rockin' Robots" and "BrickLAB Architecture" to nature quests at Chalco Hills—these camps culminate in a Friday Camp Showcase where families can see what their children have built and learned.
